Review by hotel critic
Indulging in a gourmet getaway at Mercure was a delectable experience that merged culinary innovation with a cozy ambiance. The Twenty9 Restaurant, known for its regional and Mediterranean specialties, had a unique twist - they sourced fountain water for guests and tables, creating a refreshing and sustainable touch. As a Berliner, I appreciate the fusion of local elements in global cuisine.Seating myself at the bar, adorned in the restaurant's signature style, I felt right at home. The menu boasted diverse options, beckoning me to savor each dish with intrigue. Sampling their international delights, from Maraldo to Take Thai, showcased their culinary prowess. The juxtaposition of the bustling city center and the serene dining atmosphere made every bite memorable. Despite having breakfast across the street, each service felt seamless and interconnected with the hotel's charm. Mercure's culinary landscape embraces Berlin's culinary diversity, tempting even the most discerning palates.
